New fabrics and finishes – Winter 2025

We’re spicing up winter with exciting new fabrics and finishes, ready for specifying now. Presenting our new ‘fired’ finish, an elegant porcelain, and high-performance fabrics to fuel your creativity over the winter months.

Fired Finish

Our stainless steel has traditionally been offered either in a coloured powdercoat or a bright and shiny electroplated finish. But at the creative and product hub we call Tait HQ, we’ve been developing a more subtle and sultry option.

We’re pleased to present the fruits of our experiments: a ‘fired finish’, available on our Swing Chair. The burnished, bronze-like appearance is achieved by firing stainless steel components in our industrial ovens at extremely high temperatures. Expect organic variations and an aged, patina-like effect that produces a unique appearance with every firing.

Macchia Vecchia Gold

You might like to elevate your outdoor tabletop spec with an elegant new colour called Macchia Vecchia Gold. Porcelain Plus brings us this opulent ivory stone with intense grey veining and bronze highlights direct from the Carrara region of Italy. Available in 12mm thickness, it comes in a soft matt finish, bookmatched.

New high-performance fabrics

Thanks to our global fabric partners, we have a number of brand-new textiles you can specify across our upholstered collections.

From Knoll Textiles, Utopia (a polyester with 100,000 double rubs Wyzenbeek) offers a sophisticated palette of 20 colours. Prairie is seriously hardworking vinyl (500,000 double rubs Wyzenbeek) and comes with serious choice – 58 hues to be exact.

You could serve up enticing holiday vibes with Tropicalia from Catherine Martin by Mokum in 10 riotous colourways. On the more minimal end of the spectrum is the sophisticated palette of 6  in Maharam’s Chapter, a ribbed boucle.

Casamance has introduced two collections inspired by the evocative beaches of South America: Playa Carillo in Costa Rica and Bahia Solano in Columbia.

Outdoor upholstery specialist Sunbrella has been busy. They’ve introduced Tundra, an acrylic jacquard weave in 13 colourways and Heritage, a modern twist on a vintage style, made from up to 50% recycled fibre. Slow is another acrylic jacquard, is distinguished by curly yarns, which creates a distinctive puffy texture; Source revisits a previous range (Natté), using 50% recycled fibres; whilst Wander is a jacquard inspired by mineral elements, with a warm and comforting aesthetic.

Along with these new beauties, we’ve also had a winter revamp across our showrooms. If you need some inspiration or would like to see our collections up close, reach out to your sales representative. We’d love to host you and your team for a visit.
