Our library of metals, timbers, porcelain and upholstery is curated by Creative Director Susan Tait, drawing on Australia’s natural landscape for palettes built to last. “Our natural landscape, both flora and fauna, offers infinite inspiration,” she says. “Drawing from these enduring palettes aligns with our mission to create furniture that has longevity – aesthetic as well as functional.”

You know your space, your lifestyle and your personal style best. We bring the technical knowledge (spatial planning, material performance, sizing) to match. Together, we’ll clarify what you need, uncover anything you hadn’t considered, and land on choices you’ll be confident in.

Sessions run for approximately 1 hour and can be booked:

•       In-showroom — see and touch full-scale pieces and material samples in Melbourne, Sydney or Brisbane

•       Online — a video consultation from wherever you are

Stainless steel has much more going for it than its strength and seamless uniformity. The Tait Design Studio has been experimenting with this enduring material, with surprising results revealed at Melbourne Design Week (MDW) in the Tait Melbourne Showroom from 14–23 May.

The exhibition opens on Thursday 14 May. The official opening event for ‘Lustre’ is on Friday 15 May at 9.30am in the Tait Melbourne showroom, and the exhibition will run until 5pm Saturday 23 May. Visitors will also glimpse the new expanded Swing Collection.
