INDE Awards Winner 2022
– The Object

Zephyr Lounger by Charles Wilson
We are delighted to announce Tait’s latest lounging addition, the Zephyr Lounger, designed by celebrated Australian designer Charles Wilson, has won The Object category in the prestigious INDE Awards 2022. To be acknowledged in this way is an honour, recognising the work of our entire team to bring this vision to life.

We were deeply honoured to be nominated and humbled to accept the beautifully designed award by Dinosaur Designs at the INDE Awards Gala.

Recognised for its functional yet distinct form, the Zephyr Lounger introduces a new element to the outdoor realm and leads you to believe you were gliding away on a yacht while seated in its embrace. A reflection of the considered design, the graceful, windswept lines of the seat and backrest take on a sail-like pose and create the framework for form-fitting upholstery. The nautical-inspired chair encapsulates both Tait’s strong brand identity and Charles’ understanding of the intricacies involved in good design for everyday life.

The Zephyr Lounger is on display at the Tait Melbourne, Sydney, and Brisbane showrooms. Contact the team for more information.
