Watch: Tait For The Workplace

FOSTERING CONNECTION IN THE WORKPLACE

The innate human desire to connect with nature has inspired us to create a range of Workplace products that enhance the internal and external environments where Australians work, innovate and create. Our workplace products provide an opportunity to create healthy, welcoming and connected spaces, flexible for future change.

Crafted with sustainability and biophilic design in mind, our Workplace range fosters a connection between indoor and outdoor environments to reduce stress, enhance clarity, and create calm spaces.

“The process of creating our commercial Workplace range has been one which began with a recognition of the meaningful connection humans have with flora, fauna and the unique elements that surround us,” says Susan Tait, Creative Director at Tait.

“What emerged was a need to create thoughtful spaces that are sustainably designed, while facilitating the opportunity to have a positive impact on the environment, the local community, and the people who work within them.”

Tait products are handcrafted in Australia from sustainable materials and built to withstand diverse climate elements. 95% of Tait products are manufactured in Australia, resulting in a reduced carbon footprint while providing an ability to offer customisation options with short lead times. Tait’s local, made-to-order model also means fewer resources are wasted and most products can be refurbished throughout their lifetime.

“Tait products are reflective of Australia’s enviable outdoor lifestyle and are renowned for their durability and longevity. Our Workplace range is an extension of this, with a continued commitment to manufacture locally and offer the option to refurbish our products throughout their lifetime, reducing waste and promoting sustainability,” continued Susan.
