With another successful year drawing to a close the Tait team would like to express our heartfelt gratitude for your support.

This year marked 30 years of Tait being owned and operated in Australia, committed to shining a light on Australian designers and creating high performance pieces for local and global audiences.

Holiday Closure Details

Tait’s Factory & HQ will be closed from Fri 22 Dec, 12pm – Mon 1 Jan. The team will resume production from Tue 2 Jan 2023.

Tait’s Showrooms will have reduced hours over the holiday period – see below for details:

Melbourne Showroom

Fri 22 Dec, 2pm – Sun 7 Jan: Closed

Sydney Showroom

Sat 23 Dec – Sun 7 Jan: Closed

Brisbane Showroom

Sat 23 Dec – Sun 7 Jan: Closed

All showrooms will return to normal hours from Mon 8 Jan 2023.

We were honoured to celebrate 30 Years of Tait for Melbourne Design Week. From the hammer to the robot, the exhibition invited visitors to explore our early works, insights, unexpected paths, and the future of the company, coinciding with the launch of our new Swing chair and incredible Voom Dining Table by Adam Goodrum.

We were thrilled to welcome people from all over Australia to our showroom including the NGV Members Tours attendees!

To celebrate Indigenous innovation and draw focus on the significant environmental threat of discarded ghost nets, which account for around 40% of all ocean plastic, Numbulwar Numburindi Arts, an Indigenous-led visual arts organisation, Agency and Tait collaborated for Melbourne Design Week on a First Nations-led immersive activation.
